This now famous Frigate, HMS PLYMOUTH is preserved afloat at Birkenhead, Merseyside. She was the last of the Type 12 Rothesay Class anti-submarine frigates built for the Royal Navy

The only conventional Submarine involved in the Falklands war, HMS ONYX is now open for you to walk through and get some idea of the conditions for the men.

Raised from the deep a classic example of a type 9B WW2 GERMAN U BOAT, the U 534 is one of many that nearly brought Britain to its knees. Now you can walk through this ghost of the deep

For many years the MERSEY BAR LIGHTSHIP was the first sight of Liverpool for homeward bound warships and other vessels, compare the difference of conditions between this and naval vessels.

The latest addition to the Historic Warships is the LCT (LANDING CRAFT TANK). For some years rotting away in a Liverpool dock, it has now come under the care of the Warship Preservation Trust with major restoration work in hand.
